Did you have an inspection? If you did, you're not proving your point.

: Will violations, citations, or warnings issued against a driver while driving his/her personal vehicle be placed into the driver's data in CSA?
A: No. The only data that will be placed into the CSA database related to drivers will be violations noted on a roadside inspection report (this is only completed when a commercial vehicle and/or the driver of a commercial vehicle is inspected) and crashes that the driver is involved in while operating a commercial vehicle.

Was the warning ticket from your personal vehicle or commercial vehicle?

I am curious, as I had a warning ticket in PA on my car on the interstate, going 75 in a 75 zone. I think he pulled me over because of my illegally tinted windows, done by the previous owner. He didnt check my window tint, but you can tell by looking at the front windows they are too dark, as they match the rear windows, which are allowed to be darker. I lowered the passenger window before he got to the car, so he could see in.....I should have lowered the back window too, so he could see me as he approached.

He wanted to know where I was from, where I was going, how long I had been away from my sweetie, when was the last time we had sex, ‍♂️etc. all the usual questions. I asked him how big his johnson was, ‍♂️and asked him twice if he liked my car....no response...I guess he is the only one that gets to ask the questions.

Just a few points. First, you are wasting your time here. This is the perfect example of what happens when people post opinions with no facts to back them up. I know they will come back with a well that's what our safety critter said. Unfortunately, a lot of safety critters are ignorant of CSA. The FMCSA has put out at least 4 or 5 PDFs of handouts teaching about CSA. This attitude is the primary reason these asinine myths get traction and won't go away. 2nd point, Roadside inspections is not the only way data gets into the CSA database. The state's themselves can do it, however, now we are getting into an area a bit outside of the scope of these boards The best way to understand this part is to think of any driver or carrier that gets reported to the FMCSA by a state DOT as a serious problem. It takes a series of tickets and accidents to get reported. This is why the FMCSA mandates an accident register for anything that is considered recordable. Two of the most important carrier held databases is the driver qualification files and that accident register. These are what FMCSA and state safety auditors ask for.first.

In these days and times if a cop can't see your hands or how many people are in the vehicle they can get (anzy) and honestly I don't blame them. I was driving my brother in laws pickup once from Greenwood SC back to my hometown in Georgia gosh it had to have been 15 years ago. I got stopped by the Anderson SC Sheriff's dept and that pickup had real dark tint. I did the same thing, used the power windows and lowered both windows and placed both hands outside where the cop could see me. He actually thanked me and told me why he stopped me. (obfuscated tag).

I personally don't have an issue with tint even a dark tint. However like I said once stopped be mindful that cop can't see you and most cops are not going to just walk up and knock on your door. I know a now retired Georgia State trooper that told me if he could not see through the back glass he would via his loudspeaker order you out of the vehicle.

This sounds good until you get stopped 1200 miles away from your home and those court dates start to conflict with your job. If you actually (fight) a ticket at a minimum that is 2 trips. If you don't settle the charge beforehand you have to physically be in the courtroom to make a plea. The return on the trial date. This can really add up. I rather advise drivers to avoid getting tickets to start with. However, there is one circumstance I advise to fight! that is when the cop is being a tool and makes a charge that is BS. I got 2 BS tickets in Habersham County Georgia in the last week of 2008 in my POV. I fumed all the way to Atlanta and even during that run. I went to court pro se plead not guilty and asked for a jury trial. I beat both of those charges in a jury trial. Don't believe me? Go ask now state court Judge Steve Campbell then solicitor about that truck driver that spanked him in court in the spring of 2009. I know for a fact he remembers it!

On the last ticket I got I immediately went to a lawyer and started the fight and won how much you willing to pay to stop a violation and it's track, and stating it shouldn't have done it in the first place is it given you play you pay

In my Habersham County Georgia case, I had to take time off from work 4 times. Each visit cost me about $400 in lost income. Two times after I made my plea they had a court with no jury pool. To this day I think that tool State court solicitor was doing that on purpose. Normally I would have just ate the cost of the tickets $220 and moved on. However, that idiot deputy peeved me off.
