speedo and tach not working

I have a few probs I could use ANY info on.

first I have no tach or speedo. turn key on and tach shows rpm for about 5 sec then nothing. speedo never changes.

Second is temp stays around 150 after running. and sitting at idle it is at the lowest point gauge can read. Where is the thermostat?

third brake pedal seems really low on the floor. look like it wouldnt even work until you touch the pedal. It sits lowere than the throttle pedal. Is height adjustable? or is something wrong?

and last it has a 9 speed with top 2 gears in low and high range flipped, can I change lhis to the standard h pattern or is it a major swap? Top plate needs replaced anyway since it seems pretty sloppy. Clutch has been meesed up for awhile and I think its been forced a little to much. still shifts smooth just the shift handle is really loose.

truck is 94 volvo wia with 11.1 DD 60 series.
