looking to order a clutch brake online today but I need to know the shaft size for the Eaton 8LL. Anyone know? I assume it’s 2” but I don’t want to order until I know for sure. Thanks!

I don't think you would ever need anything other than 2" 10 spline for heavy duty.

It would have to be pretty old and a low torque tranny to have anything but a 2 inch. I don't know if the 8ll ever had the smaller one, but could have.

You are pretty safe with that but only way to be sure is measure it.
Do not recall a smaller input shaft in any above a 9 series transmission. As in RT910.
Even the Kodiac ten wheel truck around here, Cat 3116 with RTO14?08LL, has a 2 inch shaft. Not much lower power than that in a heavy truck.

    Airman89 Thanks this.
