The stock app doesn't work on an unlimited plan, without paying extra $.

    I did write.

Sorry for the late reply. No, not a business plan.

I just posted about the announcement I saw on a big RV blog about $42.99 unlimited sprint data. It's for businesses, but sole proprietors count.

I would watch out. Their web page is not a Sprint web page. They also want your SSN and other personal info. I think it's some 3rd party company and not affiliated with Sprint at all.

Too late. I've already ordered one. They may be third party, but I'm getting an account direct with Sprint. I had them call for my SSN and DOB. They were responsive and fine with doing it that way. Supposedly Sprint reaches me now. If you look at the Sprint data coverage map, their voice coverage and data coverage are wildly different. Data seems much wider spread. We'll see.

those maps aren't updated. i can use my phone in a ton of white areas.

also, is that device you ordered SPARK capable. If not, you're going to lose out on a lot of coverage.

I just checked this morning to see if it was because the spark coverage looks great. I'm getting the Netgear Zing Mobile Hotspot. It is tri-band capable. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2423113,00.asp

you'll have to let us know how it all works out.

i would have gone with a spark capable cell phone though. better priced plans. and you can do a whole lot more.

The Sprint Hotspot is working great. I've only got one bar when I'm at home, but it's pulling 4-6 Mbs download which is 2-3x faster than my ATT DSL. It's a good thing too because my dog literally ate the DSL cable this week and cut off the internet at my home. My wife didn't even know the difference because I had the hotspot running. I imagine with a better signal it'll get faster speeds. I've got an antenna ordered. So big thumbs up for a nice Sprint surprise.
