Sprinter Van Reality Numbers Help

Ok. Im sure that this thread has been posted many times, but I looked and couldnt find one specific to my situation in this current time. I have found some numbers, but not enough to make this decision. I have 16k saved up and am looking to purchase a used sprinter.. but thats a big investment for me, so I want to find out if it is going to pay off. I am lookin at either Panther or Express 1. I know Fed Ex is better, but I dont do Canada so lets stick to the subject.. I want to buy a used sprinter (2005ish are going for around 16k) So the question is: Can any real time sprinters out there give me some current accurrate numbers on the pay and amount of miles that they are ACTUALLY getting and would it be worth it for me? All suggestions ON THE subject are much appreciated.
