I think the OP is crazy for what it's worth. After that I guess I don't see the bad part of having a camera that is facing the road and records when a trigger is tripped. To me this sounds like an effective tool to be used when coaching drivers and may actually result in making the roads a safer place.
Spy ware in the truck??

And we wonder why this country is becoming a police-state. It's voters who think like these guys, who have no idea what their rights are, nor do they care.
I would like to see some president attempt to ban football. It would be the only way to get some of these idiots to pay attention to politics and WAKE THE #### UP & join the fight against the destruction of our constitutional rights.Last edited by a moderator: Mar 11, 2015
2fuzy, bigdogpile, KE5WDP and 4 others Thank this. -
I don't think you have a constitutional right to be a bad driver.

my point is just because they say it only comes on when you screw up, doesn`t mean things like that cant be used in other ways. you people want to have babysitters thats up to you. not me! i`m not going to tell anybody what they can put in their truck but i can tell them i wont drive that truck. read the bill of rights and the constitution, i have more than the right to die as a us citizen. never said i had the right to drive or be a bad driver but i do have a right to privacy. so everyone can just follow the heard and do as their told no questions asked, keep letting them walk all over you, thats on you but me, i`m going down swingin!
bigdogpile, RICO and I_HATE_MINIVANS Thank this. -
I like driving because I like the independence. I don't even want to work in a warehouse or office with the managers and coworkers. Let alone work with a video camera pointing at my face.
Now you're telling me I can't pick my nose in private while driving down the road! I can't pee in a jug privately while cruising down the road!
That's not the point though really... I can't believe the drivers on here who say they're okay with having video cameras on them in the truck.
I can't imagine any other profession putting up with the rules and regulations that drivers put up with... and for what? To make the roads safer? No! The real reason is to keep the COST of consumer goods down.
Guess what! When you take all that weight and propel it down the highway; ACCIDENTS will happen...
WE ARE ALL A BUNCH OF UNEDUCATED, UNDERPAID, MORONS, who have no clue how to get together and stand up for ourselves!
So many drivers on this website have driven millions of miles safely delivering diapers and beer and cereal, but there is no recognition for that!
Drivers need to respect themselves just a little bit more! Just think of all that you have already sacrificed and ask yourself if you need to have a camera in your face and a buzzer in your ear.RICO, Troady, 2fuzy and 1 other person Thank this. -
I could care less if the camera is pointed at the driver. I want one pointed the other direction. Plus you really don't give up that much being a truck driver. I know everyone likes to say that, but you really don't.
