How is it splitting hairs or nit picking to point out that he misrepresented the numbers he posted? Facts matter, and if he wants to push a false narrative with phony details, perhaps he should work for CNN. If the thread title had been "Missouri", or if the numbers he had posted only included the St. Louis area, there would be no problem...but he chose not to, and he got called out for it.

 

While I am prone to agree with you about CNN, I still believe you are being difficult about this.

Driver sent a simple “Heads Up” to his/her fellow Drivers... warning them about the weather in an area of this fine country... literally a “be care in this area... there be snow and stuff”

Yes, the details may be for the State and the Title was for St. Louis... but the communication was clear... “be careful or avoid if possible”...

To call out a Good Samaritan on a slight and meaningless detail well... yes, is picking nits.
