There is two "Stryker" radios...The Stryker 440, and the Stryker 490.

Basically both radios have the same fetchers, but the 490 has a bit more power. (around 100w's, where the 440 will swing a little over 50w's)

I had one of the Stryker 440's when they first came out, and had nothing but good reports on the thing. Everyone was always asking me about the radio, because it was so clear, and LOUD!

But the one draw back I had to the radio, was the Blue Lighted face on the radio...It was fine during the day, but at night was very bright...even when the "dim" switch was on.

Stryker has came out with a Mod, that helps dim the lights now, so that their not so blinding, but I never had the Mod done to the one I had, so I can't commit on weather or not it was a good fix or not...herd however that the Mod did work...

Over-All, the Stryker 440 is one heck of a radio...if you can handle the blue lights at night!
