Hi there,
Recently whenever my clutch is in and in gear to come to a stop , the rpms drop and the truck stalls out. And also when I am about to go and clutch in and in gear it seems to stall out , but if I let go fast enough then it does jump but does not stall out . If I am at the light and put it in neutral then rpms return back to normal. Is there some sort of sensor causing this.
thank yiu

When was the last time you adjusted the clutch, and how was it adjusted? Also, how many miles are on the clutch, who greases the throwout bearing, and how often? Does it make any noise?
Either the clutch is slightly engaged enough to kill the engine, or you've got fuel issues at idle, and the drag is enough to kill the engine. Those are my guesses, but a lot more info is needed.AModelCat, BoxCarKidd, killalol and 3 others Thank this. -
I adjusted the clutch recently, and while I had my
Brake chambers changed the mechanic looked at clutch some play but nothing terrible , and he readjusted . He said it looked like some metal shaving in it. There is a noise though when it started happening . Like a clink clank sound coming from under the pedal. -
Get in an open area. If you slow down to a crawl, trans in 2nd gear, clutch pedal 90 - 95% to the floor, no brake application. Does the engine still pull the truck forward?
AModelCat, killalol, God prefers Diesels and 1 other person Thank this. -
Have you started using the Clutch brake more after the clutch was adj. and does it work only when pedal is pushed to the floor or several inches from the floor?
killalol Thanks this. -
Thanks guys, turns out it was connections from battery to ECM eventually it didn’t turn on anymore
God prefers Diesels and BoxCarKidd Thank this.
