Stand alone Carrier Transient

    Hi folks,
    I've got a stand alone APU from Carrier Transicold. It does not heat the truck engine because APU & the truck have separate coolant ssystems. But I've read that there is a block heater option which would be powered by APU's 6kW generator. Does anyone have a similar setup? What brand makes a quality engine block heater?

    A block heater is a fairly generic part, they are similar to a water heater element. Any one of them would suffice,I would think. Amazon has one for about $50
