    TiT - Avoiding a hotel room is just part of it. My tractor is far more comfortable to drive than my smaller Chevy 1500 over that distance. It's a roughly a 3,000 mile round trip. Why wouldn't I use a vehicle more suited to long distance hauling?

    Maybe you can hook up with a power only for the trip home.

    I have a receiver on the back of my 379 for flat towing my Jeep if i ever needed to. The receiver was for a Jeep Wrangler YJ front cross member and bolted right up to the existing holes on my rear cross member on the Pete, I'll try to find a pic.

    I think the bolt spacing was 32" .
    You can always remove the driveshafts on the vehicle your towing and flat tow it with a towbar, might ride better than a trailer.
