I think an air cylinder and the right valve mounted to your gear shift would solve the clutch problem
I assume you would only use the clutch to take off from a stop?
I probably wouldn’t use an Allison torque converter style transmission for an otr truck but it would work
C15 and dd15 could probably be made to work with a 2 pedal style auto
    I doubt a 3406e would

    DD82ndAA Thanks this.

I drove paccar rentals in mid 2000’s early 2010’s that had clutch pedal less eatons. But the shift tower was still electrically operated and connected to throttle pedal position and movements

About a year and a half ago I installed a very well engineered hand driving setup in a camry for a long time family friend. She is double amputee. It is the kind that is hand control next to console and floor shifter. I thought while i was doing it how interesting it would be to see if it would work with the needed mods of coarse in a big truck.

There is a company that makes a hand control air assist clutch, looks just like a johnny bar on the column.
Just have to get the waiver from DOT.

Do you know what the name of the company is by chance?

Quite a while ago so I don't remember.

You have to get a SPE certificate so I would contact your regional FMCSA office. They may have the names of some. If I remember correctly they have to meet their specs.
