Just started driving a 2006 4900ex.
This is the first Star I've driven that does this.
Put 4-ways on and they work.
Step on the brake and they stop.
They have 3 that do this.
All the other Stars don't do this.
Was there a service memo for this, that I can't find?
Hoping that maybe just a wire is changed around or maybe a setting in the datastar.
Thanks for any help....

Do they stop completely or just stay on without flashing like some cars?

Mine has the same issue. It's a 2013. I've read that that's a Western star thing that is set up that way from factory. But there's also a way to undo it. Search the forum and you should find it

There's a wire in the turn signal switch that can be clipped to keep it from doing that. It's been talked about here before, I just don't remember which thread.
Cetane+ Thanks this. -

Well,I cut the red jumper wire and it's still doing it.
I would welcome any other idea's. -
Ya,that's what they are doing.

My 2013 came set up like this from the factory. My dealer changed it for me, but I can't remember what they did, other than it was a wire in the steering column.
