So this whole teaming thing is for the birds. So can anybody give me any updates information on STAR TRANSPORT based out of Nashville. I'm looking at their Northeast regional which is boasting 45 cpm. I don't want to have it look like I'm job hopping when I especially as I near my year mark so my choices at the moment are limited to covenants sister companies of Star and SRT since they all fall under one main company. So my question remains. What's up with Star?? Everything I searched on the forum was limited information or dated.

Look at a thread I posted about Metropolitan. I think you'd be better off there. CPM varies, but you'll be home every weekend. Star has equipment that is getting past it's prime..

You would be better off waiting until you have the year and go to Millis Transfer.
Star is a typical dry van company and their reputation isn't all that great for drivers. It's not horrible, but not great either.
You can make $50K+ at Millis Transfer. They do hire drivers with one yr. experience. They're opening a new terminal in NC. They run Eastern half of USA.

Millis is a good company but you better like live loading/unloading and hauling heavy beer loads because that is their primary freight, at least it was!

Agreed! Good company, great equipment and home on the weekends. Plus they also have local opportunities as well.
