I thought swift training was six weeks minimum, no exceptions unless you have very recent experience.

It is 240 hours which can be 4-6 weeks depending on how well you do.

Take bath towel and wash cloth as Swift does not offer them any more at terminals for showering.

Remember it takes two weeks for you to get your first check. Take what you need. I took plenty of clothes in a suitcase. One duffel bag filled with my shower stuff and a sleeping bag and pillow.

Bring some disinfectant that smells good just in case you get a stinky mentor.:biggrin_25520:

Poor soul may your mentor have mercy on you.

Orientation is very straight forward. Just a bunch of company stuff and free lunches. They will give you your drivers manual when you get done and hopefully you will get a mentor right away. Took me five weeks to get a stinky one and thank god I only have a few more weeks left to get my own truck.. AS far as birth certificate I did not need mine.

You will like the Columbus terminal. That is one of my favorite terminals so far. Good luck
