Good luck. :biggrin_25514: If you haven't driven a manual transmission, start learning now, to drive a tractor you'll need to know half the basics and forget the other half :biggrin_25525:

I started my career in asheville Nc. at a school called skyland academy......
After graduation I had a choice of going with the bottom feeder companies and there was a company that was small and local out of swannanoa Nc. called East-West Inc. I went to work for them for my first year of driving doing that west coast turn around . Back then they were paying 1000 a turn .
One week i would get 1 1/2 turns so my pay would fluctuate 2000 one week and 1000 the next.....

Good luck to you in your new career choice !

Wait 'til you pass your DMV and walk out with CDL in hand, then you'll really be stoked.
