Filled out online app Friday, got a call from Adam yesterday (monday) to complete application. Just got off the phone with Adam (tuesday). Will start class/orientation on Monday. Three days start/finish response time. Off to a good start, so far!

    tarmadilo and Lonesome Thank this.

Do they require a hair follicle test, and do they have driver facing cameras?

Urine test, and yes, there’s a driver-facing camera, but I put a sock over mine for a month just to see if anyone was actually watching and didn’t get any response from management. They only look when there’s an accident.

I started in December, 2018 as a rookie truck driver (after 20 years as a coach bus driver), started at 36 cpm, got two one cent raises (at one month and six months), then got a dedicated lane after 8 months, I’m on salary for $1200/week. Home every weekend.

Maybe you found out that there's room for advancement because you're the only one with the fortitude to stick it out long enough and weather the crap to get some Goody.

That's the way it's SUPPOSED to be.
A year is a small price to pay.
Imagine where you'll be in 5 years if you are dedicated and safe for them.

Just don't let your wages grow stale. Even though you're on salary, that can be renegotiated when the time is right.

    Good job.

Well, I’ve been with them for over three years, and I’m still mostly happy. Good folks.
