Starter companies that verify your information BEFORE u get to orientation?

What “starter companies” verify your driving/employment information BEFORE they invite you to an orientation?

As I have written here before, I recently graduated from a community college driving program and now have my CDL. I had been working overseas since 2005 prior to going to driving school and I want to make sure a company is satisfied with my overseas employment and my older US based driving records before I go out of my way to attend a new employment orientation.

I don't want to go through the effort to travel to an orientation only to be sent home later. What companies verify your information BEFORE they invite you to an orientation?

 

I read in another thread that TransAm orientation starts on Wednesdays, does that sound right to you?
