Well Thank you to all who posted the pos info up here and as far as the neg goes I hope it was just your problem and will not be mine. I have got me a seat on Mar the 19th. Just finishing my school to refresh and learn some new skills. I drove it all in the military from the big Hetts like my pic to the old slap stick and ended with the sissy freightliners you just hit D and R when needed to move. I will make this home if I make it past Orientation. I will start a thread just as soon as I leave home for my new Employer. And I also saw a TMC trailer parked near my home in NC so maybe he is a trainer, would be nice...

Good luck to you blind dog and ex88m. As someone who has been thru and survived the god awful oreintation as some on here made it out to be:biggrin_2556:,(did you catch the sarcasm?) its not bad at all. Its the big shots who think they are gods gift to humanity who get the boot, not the ones who buckle down and work hard.

Btw, $50k my first year driving, ill deal with 62mph.

The drivers that are happy with 62 just think they are ripping you off up to 8 miles you could drive every hour. Just add that up over a year.

    To all with negative comments,
TMC orientation does NOT scare me. I have a VERY HARD time believing some of these stories, where the driver gets a bus ride home for the stupidest thing you've ever heard???? TMC spends ALOT of money on orientation, as do ALL companies. The bus tickets alone would be alot. Then you have motel, shuttle van, food, etc.....
These guys that get sent home, is your story the "gospel truth" really? Or, did you have something that you were trying to hide from the orientation. I.E. "I didnt know my drivers liscence was suspended" Really? Failed the eye exam there, but can pass it ANYWHERE else. Didnt lift the tarp correctly, but can lift it correctly ANYWHERE else. Hmmm.....
I am very nervous about the orientation process. I dont want to fail. However, I am NOT going with the mindset of what if I fail?? I'm not going to fail. I will have ALL papers that TMC says I need when I arrive. I'm gonna check and double check my packing list.
For those that didnt make it, I'm sorry for you. I'm NOT dogging you, I'm just saying.
