Starting a new job. Options with your old truck for getting it back?

    I'm starting orientation next week with another carrier. I'm doing it on my time off from my current job. I don't want to quit until I know I have the job. Question is if the new company refuses to give me time to drive the truk back are their any other options? The company i work for now is maverick. Any info would be appreciated.

    If they won't give you time off to take the truck back, something they will surely expect you to do when you leave their company, what makes you think they will be worth working for?

    I would make it a condition of accepting employment.
