    Hey there. I am starting at MTI on Monday the 16th of November in Ohio. Anyone else going to join me? I am so excited. I have searched the internet high and low and have not seen the negativity towards Millis like Swift, Werner, etc receive.

    Sketch referred me to Millis. I was researching companies and was just about ready to decide when I ran into Sketch. He helped lead me in the right direction. He is an old friend from High School. I am ready to study, train, and hit the road and make some money.

    I've also done a lot of research and am hard pressed to find any negative comments on Millis. I start 11/2 in Richfield. I'm really looking forward to it too. Good luck to you!

    I think you both made a good decision. i went to there georgia school in october of last year, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. If I get a load threw there I'll stop in to the schools and say hi.

    Good luck at MTI! Not defending Swift or Werner at all, but the reason you hear so much more negativity on them is because they are a MUCH larger company than Millis. Swift has 20,000-25,000 trucks/drivers while Millis has around 700-800.

    Yes, I agree. we are small enough that your dispatcher will actually call you by your name, and not your truck number.

    Yes, Millis is smaller. But if they are 1/20th the size of Swift then you should see one complaint about Millis for every 20 complaints about Swift. And from my calculations there are a lot more negative comments about Swift than just 20. Sometimes smaller is better.

    You made a very wise decision.. I'm just starting my 2nd week with Millis and couldn't be happier! They have done everything they promised and all the drivers i have met so far are really friendly. Seems like their freight isn't slowing down at all either, which is awesome! Good Luck to you.. Are you coming to Ohio for the training?

    I start MTI in Richfield WI one week from today. That's great news. I've heard the same from other people too.

    Those of you that are starting soon at MTI, how long ago did you apply?
    Is there anything that needs to be done before arriving and are you provided with a list of items to bring?
