I'm fine till I try and get down into 5th, then everything goes to poop. High range I'm fine with, but supposedly they want us in low range when we stop.

Youre not supposed to be out of gear for long neither, think its a truck/trailer length, but not sure. Just try to get it in. Make sure youre going slow enough, under 15mph in my truck, and remember to rev the engine far enough.

As long as youvshow your in control you are ok. Downshift to 6 is fine to slow down enough to stop. Once stopped you can pop it into second or third. Thats what i did for my road test. Just my two cents
