Starting at Prime 7/24!

I stuck it out as an NREMT-P for 4 years, my hat's off to you. Prime was to be my first choice until another more attractive (to me) opportunity in trucking presented itself. Good luck!

 

Thats not helpful... He needs to show you how to double clutch. I hate downshifting with an empty trailer also, the weight of a load can definetly help you.

 

Youre not supposed to be out of gear for long neither, think its a truck/trailer length, but not sure. Just try to get it in. Make sure youre going slow enough, under 15mph in my truck, and remember to rev the engine far enough.

 

As long as youvshow your in control you are ok. Downshift to 6 is fine to slow down enough to stop. Once stopped you can pop it into second or third. Thats what i did for my road test. Just my two cents

LOL That thing really aggravates me sometime lol Accidently backed up a road in Denver with it up... Still yet to see a good reason for high reverse...
