I'm headed to Schneider in Carlisle, PA on Saturday to go through experienced drivers' orientation. I'm really excited!! If there's any experienced Schneider drivers looking at this, is it true that you can't play with your logbooks at all as far as time shifting and stuff?? Thanks!!

schneider makes you log legal, and they will bust you if you try to falsify your logs... also the qualcomm will snitch on you if you try and run over your hours. the way they have you log is you ALWAYS log the time zone of where you are based out of, doesnt matter if i am in cali or new jersey i always log in central time. (based in dallas, tx)
it is true that they really do watch you about as close as a CIA target through the qualcomm. -
That's good. I'd rather run with a company which promotes running legal anyway. The recruiter quoted me an average of 2500 miles per week. Has that been your experience or any other's for that matter??

the worst week i have had so far was i ran 2100 miles one week, but i average about 3000-3300 pretty regularly, the best week i had i ran 3900 miles

Be sure to check Schnieder's site about pre-employment screening. Would hate for you to get there, and get sent home because of not being prepared. I cannot post links yet otherwise I would link it for you.

Welcome and BOL with your new position at Schneider, I've heard many good things and just as many bad so please make sure you visit back often and let us know how things are going for you.

Well just ask away if you have questions...always best way to find out.
Some trucks have the qcomm set up to do this very thing...rat you out. And...well lets just say...others don't. On their dedicated accounts, they aren't going to promote you running illegal. They can't. Now...think about it. Are they going to complain if you fudge the book and get a load delivered on time, especially if the on-timeyness is what matters? certainly not. -
Driver 810,
May I ask why you left Star (Morton, IL or Nashville, TN) ?
