A couple of us work-worked at XPO and didn’t have a good experience with them. At. All.

Im not sure on the team linehaul gig, I only saw one team truck when I worked at XFG barn. They were sleeping waiting on a set to go with.

All I can say is good luck, and stay safe.

I'm not an XPO cheerleader by any measure. It's very far from a perfect company in terms of the way it's managed and the general way the drivers are treated. As far as pay and benefits go; it's competitive with most other large LTL's. Bottom line is you can make better than average wages and be home everyday as a city P&D driver or solo linehaul driver. The hardest part for most newcomers is being on the extra board for an undetermined length of time until they can land a solid bid on linehaul or city.
You may have an advantage starting teams here, because you will already have a solid run out of the gate. If they give you the opportunity in the near future to bid off of the team gig, you can change it up a bit if you like. I would probably recommend you try it out and find out more about other options as a driver within the company.
Who knows, you may be happy where you are, but once you're in, you can bide your time until something else comes up.

Very important. Having a partner with the same cleanliness is important too. The idea with these team runs is to bypass fac’s so there’s less handling and reloading. You will do fine.

    snowlauncher Thanks this.

    Hey Truckers,
    So,
My co-driver and I, met for the first time last week before we hit the road. The first thing he says is that he had accident in Tennessee which he rolled over the truck. Because he had just gotten back from vacation and didn't get enough sleep, he asked his co-driver if he could drive out his co-driver said no because he doesn't like to drive at night. Luckily no was hurt.
My question is do I trust this driver. Because I think his judgment was way off here.
    Lmk What you guys think.
    Thanks
