Coast-to-coast food grade tanker. One account hauls tanker loads of wine out of California.
No Tanker Experience Required – We haul products such as juice, milk, cream, and everything in between.
Has terminals coast-to-coast.
Hires new cdl school grads.
Started hiring new cdl school grads recently. Not on the website yet.Last edited: Nov 7, 2023

You notice, I posted mostly reefer companies. During recessions, food and medicine and plasma still has to move. Holidays, such as Christmas, New Years, Easter, keep reefer drivers busy supplying families for the holidays. Food grade tanker such as Indian River Transport will also keep you busy.

I drove for one and we hauled some nasty stuff and the company hired a few new cdl school grads. The new grads were as good as the experienced drivers, because they have to attend tanker school, after cdl school. We hauled acid and some other stuff to 48 states and Canada. Many drivers on this forum went to hazmat tankers right out of cdl school. The best paying one, for new grads, is Eagle Transport. I didn't list it because you want OTR and Eagle Transport is not OTR.

To clarify, the main reason I am interested in OTR and living in the truck is to earn (and save) the most money. Seeing the country is a nice bonus, but if driving a tanker and paying rent would lead to net higher earning and savings then I would potentially do that instead.Bean Jr. Thanks this.
