I’d strongly suggest immersing yourself as an OTR company driver of 18 wheels, at least a couple years. Get the gist of the industry and life. If you’re still feeling it, then, start pursuing those in the segment(s) you’re interested in. Most likely, they’ll offer up whatever info you’re curious about. But, pursuing this in your current manner will most likely result in failure, which is why I suggested NOT wrecking your 2023.
Generally speaking, if something is easy to get into or doesn’t have huge risk, usually, it doesn’t pay well.

Thank u again. My experience with 18 wheels was up in ND oil fields for 4 years running water before the DOT was up there or should I say never seen then the oil patch stated to get heavily regulated .Amd I was running hotshot in the oilfield as well .So all input is much appreciated for this interstate hotshot I plan on doing .

That’s a whole other world, up there. What you’re proposing is the equivalent of me saying I’m buying equipment to go up there and create a business. To you and all the others up there, I’d be nuts…or stupid. I’d be best to go up there and get my feet wet, first, working for someone. Then, if I like it, start considering doing my own thing.
Again, come out and drive a big truck, see the country, get some experience, then, start planning your next move. It’d be the most logical plan, IMO.darthanubis, Coffey, Lite bug and 1 other person Thank this. -

It's based on the date the engine was built if I'm not mistaken. That's why a brand new glider could get away with skirting the ELD laws. It should be on the driver's side valve cover along with the engine serial number.
