I'm here most food companies hire brand new believe it or not. There theory is people have bad habits either way so they would rather train a new person then break an old persons bad habits.
There's eventually more opportunities with food then just delivering it takes some time to work up to those opportunities, but they do exist. Just have to put time in and fill in best you can.
It was interesting I was listening to the radio yesterday and they said most people start to dislike there job at age 35. People in there 20s get all start eyed about having a career, but then realize a career is still just work it's just different types of work.
With any job the work changes you can go from delivery driver to management at a lot of places those are going to be day jobs. Shuttle and truck load food jobs are going to be more night time stuff, really none of it is bad and there's no need for discontentment once you do the same runs and stuff it ends up being pretty manageable.Sho Nuff Thanks this. -
I think where the discontentment for a lot of people is, is you work hard on a career just to find it's still work and after a while putting work first gets old and instead people would rather put there children and spouse ahead of work.
However I'm in the camp of everything costs money so find a routine. Now as far as quitting jobs goes I've done it we've all done it, it's as natural as breathing you take something as far as you can and either it's enough or it isn't no harm in that it's how it goes. -
You're right about that. Are you still in Food Service? Also, if you were in my shoes, where would you go and what would you do after you graduate CDL school? I'd appreciate any advice, as always.

I would figure as long as MVR is clean that's all that matters, since it all boils down to insurance I would imagine?austinmike Thanks this.

True, most companies don't care about that and even bend their own rules that are posted on their websites.
