Starting on monday the 12th i start with Valley Transporatation out of Ashland Ohio. Im ready for start, ive been waiting for 2 weeks to get going. From what i hear there a pretty good company. Im not sure if ill be able to update this while im on in training because i might not take my laptop with me. I'll do it when i get home.

If u don't NEED your laptop with you then I would suggest not taking it. One less thing to distract you plus you can concentrate on the training a little more.

Congrats on the new job, hope it works out well for you. And I'm sure I'll be seeing you around NW Indiana quite a bit ;)

I dunno SHC, no one I know sleeps 10 hours a day and if he's going to log legal he may want to take that thing for some of the down time to watch movies on and browse, maybe I'm wrong?

    BIG HINT:

If you take your laptop don't use the #### thing going down the road!!!

bring the #### laptop! and a camera if you dont have a way to get the pics from your phone to the laptop. My only advice as a newish flatbedder myself, take pictures of every load you do, and of how you secured it, put it all in a folder on your computer. That way you can look back for referance, I take tons of pictures.

I thought he was just going to orientation, not out in the truck???

Either way, if it wasn't for me needing the dang laptop for Landstars load board, I still wouldn't carry mine. I have a tv and my iPhone works better too. I hardly ever use my laptop.
