That's cool! I went to TDI back in 96'. It was a fairly decent school, I guess! At the beginning of class they pretty much told everyone that they were going to pass! You shouldn't have a problem. Really all school does is get you prepared for training. It was a blast though! My wife went there too. The folks there are super nice and every two years they have let me come back and renew my medical card with them on the day the doctor is there. Cost like $30 and takes 5 minutes. You really should start looking into companies now. Don't bother listening to the brainwashing recruiters that are going to come in while you are in class and try to get you to drive for them! Swift, Werner, Covenant etc... Try some of the Fl companies like Armellini and Windy Hill. They are smaller companies and are also floral so the potential for making really good money is there! Windy Hill is also super laid back and don't hover over you with the qualcomm. Both of these companies due to floral runs don't stay out like normal carriers. They usually run out 3-5 days and come back for another floral load. You get paid per mile and per stop. A lot of loads have more than 30-50 stops too! That's where the bucks roll in! Good luck to you if you have any questions about school or anything let me know. Welcome to the forum.

Aye, bud. A bit of advice for you when you are in school. Make the most of it, rexlax and have as much fun as you can, dont sweat anything. As long as you can verify you past employment, pass a drug test and are not one of the 5 stupidest students in your class you will pass with flying colors. This will be the last big vacation you have assuming you go into an OTR job after, make the most of it. I went to a crumby mega carrier school and I had a blast. 3 weeks of partying with the other students just acting like an 18 year old again, loved it. I am pretty dim feller by most peoples standards still made it in top ten of class without hardly studying out of fifty some students who graduated. Dont be one of those party poopers who sits in there little room and studies and memorizes every word verbatim, having zero fun. It wont get you any farther, most of what your learning will be out on the road.
Enjoy the hell out of it, learn as much as you can and don't sweet anything. Best of luck to ya dont forget to have fun. -
Excellent Kevin!
Take it all seriously and learn as much as possible. Practice as much as possible. Approach it in a professional manner. Don't get too down on yourself when you make a mistake and surround yourself with positive people as much as possible.
Looking forward to reading your updates.just lil me, Spacecoast and Katey Thank this. -
