I have my own no capital to finance my own business, 1 thing he did say is he would cash the truck vs financing so my overhead will be less.

The point is there is more to trucking than owning and turning the key.

It is easy, that’s why you see DOT numbers up over 3.5 million

Here we go!!!! I am about to sit back and watch....none of the other drivers have told you want you want to hear. I think your mind is made up as to what you want to do....I sense a need for validation here......by the way, business in trucking is different from business in other industries

Doesnt mean you know how easy it is to cut a sidewall. Or how to deal with traffic that parks in your blind spot.
Starting out I would go with schneider for 6 months as company. Then if you still feel the need to be O/O get a truck and get some of their miles. Insurance will be cheaper for you after a year driven.

He's been in it for 13 years, and yes he has relationships with brokers, no direct customers, he only runs 2 trucks, he was telling me if I wanted to start off, he'll give me the connections with some of his brokers, etc. And $75000 is nothing in So Cal, maybe in other states, but not here, and there's a ton do O/os make much more than $75000

You really think there are tons who make much more than 75k? I would say there are tons that starve.
