Made it through projects with the kids and only got shot with the nail gun once. Today was long but important. I was able for the most part do all of the activities on the truck by myself. Even Did a blind back into a garage dock today and nothing or nobody got hurt. 52 hours left on the clock before complete with mentor. Looking forward to my own truck and a little freedom. Should be interesting tonight sleeping on the truck after 3 nights at home. Got to run. Nite all

198 down 42 to go. Should be done on sunday and then we will see what swift has in store for me. I had one blindside back to do in the dark yet to complete for the forty backs. Mentor said I am in 84 but needed that one. Took some doing but I got it in there. Even got to see downtown st louis again. That city is not made for trucks. Mentor finally I am driv ing like a trucker. Turn on flashers and go instead of waiting for ever. If I need the other lanes to make a turn take them and do it as safe as possible. Not real exciting today. Maybe spring is here in the midwest. 65 and breezy in beatrice ne tonight at 11:30. Nite all

Did some figuring and should have added this to what a trucker makes but if you figure out how many hours a student is awake with trainer for trips back ins drive time and everything else involved with training you make 4.25 an hour. Then when you go solo a little more than that. Ok by me I love this s*** just my 2 cents. Just a little something to think about for students out there.

Its come to my attention that I like numbers so he is some more. I have been on mentors truck for 26 paid days. And I have completed 209 hours. If I do the math that is 8.04 hours per day on the truck. I have been with a trainer for 30 days total with 4 home days. I should be done with training within a month of working days with a lot of time my mentor serving up nice long driving runs. I should probably thank him but I won't. Don't him get a bigger head than he already has.

With friday in the books last night and no internet service well I just went to sleep. 20.25 hours left and preplans all weekend getting us back to terminal to upgrade me and overdue b service for mentor. Today should be fine for time but tomorrow we might have to take the long route to menasha because after number crunching I will be around a half hour short if we head straight to the terminal. Maybe I can stop off to see the wife and kids. 24.25 hours left on the log clock and 20.25 needed for completion. All drop and hooks from here on out.

Friday done with ne internet service so I went to bed. 24.25 hours on the logs and 20.25 hours needed to complete training. All preplans this weekend are drop and hooks to get us back to terminal monday morning. Might have to take the long way to make sure I have all the hours. Swift has less hours completed but off my logs I am right on. Uprade and maybe a truck right away if not home to wife and kids.

Looks like a double. Sorry about that phone froze and I thought I lost it and rewrote it. 9.25 hours to go and it looks like I will get it done in 30 paid days. I have to drive at 7pm tomorrow night to get to the last live unload and still have enough time to get back to the terminal. Hopefully the upgrade me before my 14 runs out at 9 am. Long day tomorrow waiting for my turn. I'm looking forward to getting started on my new career. I know this time went fast and I hope it goes as well for other people as it did for me. Happy mothers day to all mothers out there

About to get started on the last leg of training. A 7 hour run for a live unload then a 2.5 hour drive back to the terminal for upgrading. I should complete training in 30 working or paid days. Pretty excited didn't get much sleep but I don't think it will matter. Hope all mothers out there had a great mothers day.
