I'd rather not publicly say who my fleet manager is. My understanding is that he's fairly new to the company.

largest hat, they provide transportation to orientation, hotel room, and lunch during orientation. He hotel offers a continental breakfast, dinner is on you. Make sure you have enough money to live on til your 2nd payday. Your 1st check is mailed to your house & direct deposit doesn't kick in til your 2nd paycheck. You also need to be aware of the fact that they will require you to buy the following from them unless you have them, 2 loadlocks $50 each, 1 gladhand lock $35+/-, 1aircuff lock $66 before you get your first dispatch. They allow you to make payments on them via weekly payroll deduction. They also pay PC Miller shortest route miles.

Well good luck to anyone who drives for E.L. HENDERSON !! Me and my husband drove for them and the pay and miles are great but be careful they will make you haul loads that are over weight and if you get a ticket your responsible for it . They push teams to the extreme and want them to run 24hrs a day ! They have a fleet manager there who starts calling you and yelling if you stop to eat, s### or shower. They drove us so hard I ended up in the hospital with pneumonia ! And if you want to go home for time off it's a month before they can get a load going close to your city !!!!!!!!!!:biggrin_25510:

I have never been forced to haul an overweight load. NEVER EVER. I did get the third degree for cutting 2 pallets because I had run out of time to get it loaded right, because I was only over axle, not over gross, and it was a Saturday and I really wanted to go home so I could see the dentist to fix a broken tooth. But ultimately it is my responsibility as the driver to make it right. I don't care what dispatch says, I will ride legal. End of story.

I am a solo, but I know they do run the teams really hard. That's why I won't run team for them. Too much work. Most people I know like to be run hard, more power to them. Not my cup of tea. Kind of funny though, the fact that most people complain about being starved to death, and here we get the opposite. And again. You are the captain of the ship. Say no. I don't know who your dispatcher was, but I say no when I can't do anymore to mine. I am human, not a machine. Of course they don't like it, but too bad for them.

And last, I always get home for my home time. Maybe not the exact day, but close enough.

I am looking into them as well ,, i will give them a call on Monday ,, i like the sound of good money and running hard ! me and my brother want to run team . we are both very hard workers but more the Physical kind, he is from Construction and i am from Production very very fast past Production ,,, and very Physical .

We do not want the Physical end of a job any longer so we are going into trucking ,, we hope to get more PICK AND DROP then Hands on stuff ,, but some hands on wont bother us as long as its here and there stuff to help out ,, i hear there are some very hard load and unload trucking jobs out there and that is not what we are looking for we just want to drive the tires off the machine lol ....:Straight road:
