I am going for frac. Sorry I was busy all day in odessa then drove back to dallas. After my interview at Halliburton I went to a job fair in midland and the first booth I went to hire me on the spot. He sent me to the midland yard so that HR could send me to do my drug, dot medical and my physical exam. And just like me99 mentioned, this company also pays 7 dollars more than Halliburton.

I think the Pilot in Midland/Odessa pays 20$/hr just to clean bathrooms. Why waste your time driving for $15?

That pay seems low for oil patch work. You fellas should get up to Canada, most every job in the patch up here starts at $30 an hour. Plenty of driving jobs all over northern Alberta.

It's not actually as easy as you might think to get a temporary work visa for oilfield work in Ft. McMurray/Alberta. Even specialists and engineers are on a waiting list right now for sponsored work visas in many cases.
