Well you didn't say the trailer length, axle configuration or if it's got a fold down jail or a crank up nose or if the truck has a pusher on it, but going off of my old set up of a 53' triple SDS axle configuration with a crank up nose and no pusher I'd probably go 5k in the nose or 8 of em At an average of 667 a piece they're on the edge of fitting in a non lowered jail, but if they weren't too tall I'd stick 3 in there. Stick 15 in the rear for 10k since I got a lil longer rear being a triple.
Stick 15 15 gated in the belly or 30 straight if you aren't running too far and then 14 in the top front middle gated and 15 in the top middle rear.
I used to have ranchers and cattle buyers knock on my truck after 2 hours of sleep and immediately tell me the head count and weight and expect me to immediately spit out a loading order and then be loading as soon as I was dressed about 3 minutes later .
Best way I figured to load is to know the weight you want in each compartment so once you figure an average weight per head simple rough division tells you the head count for each compartment along with some judgement calls like will they fit in the jail and if they're close do they have horns and considering the trip terrain and distance as to whether you gate them or not.
Starting out, first truck

Hey guys, I'm back.
I drove a w900l over the weekend and it sucked. It was a 1999 model with the N14. The owner told me that the transmission was rebuilt, but it sure felt otherwise. It might have been the rear-ends, but it was jerking a lot while accelerating, felt like gear lash. The clutch brake didn't seem to work. I was grinding till I was finding. Then the turn radius was huge. The owner took over, saying no insult. None was taken. Especially after him grinding and jerking around the same way. He assured me that it is normal. It had 7 inch resonators, it was loud as fück. Maybe the w900 isn't the truck for me? Is the FLD 132 better on turning?Siinman Thanks this. -

My nephew drives a W9 , doing heavy haul
W9s are the only trucks the company he works for buys .
he loves it . but they buy new ones right before the warranty expires on the current ones .
Once KW stops making the W9 , which will Probabaly happen in a couple more years , they will likely switch to western star 45x or maybe MackSub Marino and Vampire Thank this.
