aftershock will mold what is wrote into what he wants to be said or portrayed buddy. FYI , who asked you. and no I didnt get my feeling hurt, I just dont like trolls. In internet slang , a troll is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chatroom or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

Most of ur points u made were true aftershok, but that doesnt mean any of mine werent. Ill tell you one that is tho, im goin to sleep and u need to grow up. I mean honestly, what you do is "cheap". And I myself know how to pull freight I was just tryin to help people with a little insight from my own experiences that they might be ableto apply to their own. Not get into a grable with you partially based on gramerical errors, abbreviations, and what you think to be not said properly or your idea of what is true and not. Which is far from what this thread is about to begin with. And I appreciate your constructive criticizm regarding my sentence/paragraph structure, you are right, you can read it easier and it is more "saying" if wrote properly which is something I am tryin to get better at

You also have to consider the regulars here. They have already made their reputation on here. Shockey often posts with humor and has great insight to trucking as a lot of vets on here. When new posters with little experience start calling people out with proven advise. It does a few things. One it tells others that you lack experience in the field and that you start calling the regulars names which labels you as a troll by your own definition.

We often will disagree with one another, but there is no need to try to write off a well known poster as being a troll. This site has a lot of different personalities which brings variety and character. Without the different views and personalities this Site would be dull and boring. Pull up a chair and grab a cup and get to know the posters. We all can learn from the regulars and the newbies. It is much better when we don't get offensive or defensive. Lot of good info here to be taken in.

I a troll? For sayin somethin about a person with experience makin such a post about my own, some would say "insultive". I think not. Experience or not, that doesnt change ones agenda he may have. Yes, ur right he is experienced and has very insightful things to say but is one of the rudest people I have ever seen on a forum

And I did read your post, rest assured I did. Its like, im tellin a rookie that a dispatcher doesnot have your interests at heart. He can take that and put it in his pocket so he can be aware. Aftershok comes by and says OOOH : Can it be truthfully said that you, as a driver, have your dispatcher's "interests and well being at heart"?
Or will you leave them "out in the cold before you can blink an eye"?.............who cares, that dptchr has alot more power and influence over an unexperienced driver then he has over his dptchr. That post was made for no gd rsn, just to argue or prove urself to be right and me wrong, not to actually help. I think sometimes you argue just for the sake of it. :biggrin_25513:...sorry to be offensive or defensive but I dont like rudeness. Guess I should refrain from trying to provide anything useful on this forum from now on. And sorry to aftershok if I was rude myself,I know ur just trying to provide people with useful and correct information and elimate any "jibberish" or bad advice and is not being a "troll" to do so.. When I make posts I have a way of getting side tracked on many diff other things tryin to make a point of one. I guess its not good to say something that could give a new recruit a misconception of something he needs to figure out on his own..And you have been here alot longer then me, have alot more posts then me and a ton more experience in the industry(what notar ps said),sry. ooooone more thing tho, that comment u made about the dptchr and unemployment, would it be good to keep a blind security guard posted at a diamond exchange employed just to save government funds or to not further hurt the economy anymore then it is already? If somebody aint doin their job cuz they cant or dont want to do it to the best of their ability, get em out of there right? And yes I know diff drivers require different needs, some are harder runners then others and more dedicated and go the extra mile when they dont have to and make no mistakes. And therefore should be rewarded/entrusted with better lds. Like when I was drivin I always got good lds and ran on avg around 13k/mi-month cuz my dptchr knew I was dedicated and was not gonna screw around even if I had time to do so, and for the most part looked out for me cuz I gave her 110%. Even though I may not get another ld when I empty the one I have, I always got there as quick as I could to give my self the benefit of the doubt, always trying to drop/pu or see if they could get it off early,or on. And most of the time I did have a preassigned when possible and was always rollin cuz my dptchr knew I didnt play around.
Always seein if I could park overnight at shp/con, everything I could to run that truck as proficiently and productively as I could. Thats how you make money and earn the respect of a dispatcher. But like I was sayin earlier, if your doin all that stuff on a dispatchers board that doesnt have the ability to run his drivers in the first place, let alone even answer his msgs within atleast an hr. It is not fair to the driver and is hard to keep a good attitude or stay dedicated when ur dispatcher is just incompitent or doesnot care, and I know the difference as Ive had both..and it wasnt just me, there was people tryin to get off that guys board like he had the plague. He came from the jit dept and had no prior night dispatch experience or anything, just a month or 2 of shadowing another flt mgr. They stick him in there and all of a sudden he's gotta promotion and is a drvr mngr, uh uh..
I dont know so much as if he didnt care but he had no business bein a flt mngr. Altho ud call him up and youd have waited already 45 min for a response to ur message, ud call him up and there was no typin, no haste in his voice, was like he was just sittin there doin nothin, was weird. Either that or he sniffed paint before he came to work..lol, i dunno. No, I actually met him once and was a nice guy, and was over the phone also. Just didnt have a clue as to what he was doin and I wasnt the only one to think that just to let you know. So the things I say and how I say them you may not agree with but I dont think they are out of inexperience and/or ignorance.
