i came out of the military in 2010 and went to work for swift who counted all my military exp as driving exp and started me at the top of the pay scale at $.40

I started at $5 per hour when I started out driving for a John Deere dealer in 1987.

$11.73 per hour with OT after 40 hours in 1988. I think it was 88? Can't remember back that far.
