I was averaging from 2600 to 3200 miles per week my last year as a company driver. It will vary somewhat... especially after Christmas.

Yeah it does... and it's 33 cpm to start. Higher in flats and tankers - due to the waiting time they incurr. There's also a premium paid in reefer division for running smaller tractors in the northeast (shorter runs).

If you do well on fuel, there's a variable fuel bonus tacked on too. Its possible to increase your rate from about 0.5 to a couple of cents per mile depending on how well you do week to week.

34 cents per mile = reefer
36 cents per mile = flatbed (plus $50 or $75 for tarping a load if needed)
41 cents per mile = tanker

I'm pretty sure (and according to U2 who trains) that they set the starting rate for reefers at 33 cpm a couple of years ago.

This is the rate that you receive once you've tested out and are A-seat qualified.
