    it's not employment,it's training,your not on payroll untill you get cdl. but i hear ya,i wish you luck

    Thanks. plus i will get my last check 80hrs +120hrs vaca + 60hrs comp time payed out on my last check so ill leave with a bang lol.

    So i have my cdl and i want too use my two weeks vac too go too prime, im upfront with my boss telling him everything, that way if prime find something, i can go back too my hole in ground job and dig a bigger hole in this deadend job i got now and yes i looked for other jobs , none out there.

    Thanks man. yes i bet u do know the feeling. Laying this lol tin thing down is harder than i thought. but o well time to move on. how is you situation? Are you coming to prime ?

    you were in law enforcment so you should have a retirement plan if you decide to take it you could or just save it for retirement. i work for a town here in nh. so im in nh. retirement,if i choose i can take it out with no penaltys 2 weeks after i end employment,it would be multible thousands!

    Yes i have that also. i will possibly withdraw that also and place it somewhere else for safe keeping until i know things are stable.

    I can say that as a former LEO and having driven for 12+ years it's very tough of a transition. The pay for new driver's is LOW but i'm not sure where you were in the pay dept before but just be prepared for LOW wages. Also right now freight is in it's prime for the most part with holidays coming up and expect a drop off in december all thru feb or march. I wish you luck and i sometimes wish I'd stayed LEO. Good Luck
