Starting Prime PSD - November 8th

All I can say is thank God I only have about 2 weeks left to upgrade. My trainer who is a lease/op is quite frankly a moron. In a string of unbelievable stupid decisions and actions made by after about the first week on the truck is this: We load out of Colton, CA for Sterling, IL. 24,000 lb load. I check weather and road conditons and I-70 is dry and dusty. We agree to run that. I wake up yesterday morning coming through the Gorge and he informs me we are going to KC and then heading down to Springfield so he can "talk" to his FM and "straighten him out" and get his APU fixed. Me: "don't you need an appt?" Him: "they better fix it, it hasn't worked in 6 months". Needless to say, the FM didn't get straightened out and there was no APU fixed. I could write a book on the poor business decisions and bad advice I've gottena, but will spare you. I just chuckle silently and smile inwardly and just count the miles off as he ####### about the $2.00/mile loads we are late picking up because he is too busy playing on his PS3 or watching a movie.

 

lol, this is becoming a weird form of entertainment...lol! Ya I know I NEED to upgrade. Stopped at the "black hole"(SprgMo) to fuel on our way to PA outta CA around 11 am yesterday. Turns out we need work on the trailer. The kid(trainer) doesn't give them his cell # to call cuz he wants to use Prime's wifi to download some video game to his PS3. I'm not on duty, but finally around 9:00 pm I get up and ask whats going on? Tells me he hasn't heard. I walk into the trailer shop, guy tells me trailer has been done since 4 pm...lol! Even shows me the note on work order DON'T CALL! Anyway I get hooked up and we head out. We plan on switching near Indy.
I park and wake him up, he says he is gonna sleep for another hour. I crawl up top and crash and wake up at 11 am and he's playing video games..lmao! We finally get going and I just got up(around 5) He wants to switch out once we get on the PA pike, which is cool with me( I LOVE driving across PA!), but I have not doubt he will be up all night playing video games AGAIN!
To top it off, he is planning on going to Pittston to get his APU fixed after we drop and hook at USCS in Beth, PA, BUT STILL HASN'T MADE AN APPT!!! I figure if this kid can operate a lease truck and make money with his business aptitude, I may make 6 figures a year with my own truck...lol(jk)
But on the bright side...HE FINALLY TOOK A SHOWER!

 

Ya, u could say that! lol! We dropped and hooked in Bethlehem, PA and I drove to the Pittston yard and he's STILL playing video games. He hasn't slept in 2 days cuz of his new game...lol! I'm going to bed....
