Just out of curiosity, do you know anyone in the Midwest area who drives truck? I ran into a guy at the truck stop this morning who said he had a buddy that was starting with Roehl today or tomorrow (my days run together). If it's anyone here, speak up. And know that this guy disapproves, apparently, with his "He wants to live in his truck like all these other guys" statement.
starting roehl on Feb 25th

Did your truck come with all the tarps, straps ect already in it? If not, wait till you have to switch out again and have to move all that too.
Good luck with flats! -
well was just going by what the recruiter said as far as not going with a trainer. I mean I could care less if I go with one or not. I also cant believe load securement training is only 3 days long. It was 3 weeks long at maverick and even then that really wasnt long enough.

No, since I will be pulling vans for another week they don't want me to get the straps and tarps yet because of the added weight.

No I'm joking...but I've been looking for 1 Roehl truck for about a month now and haven't seen any. Do you guys ever travel I-85 south or strictly 75?
Finally saw a Crete truck today, 2 in a row...which was a shocker. -
We have a terminal in Georgia. Looking at my routing, it looks like I'm heading down I-75.

I've only been down I-85 twice. Both times where with trainers.

Saw quite a few Roehl drivers on 75 and the Atlanta bypass. Nowhere near the amount you see in Chicago, but still enough. Anyways, sitting in Jackson, GA right now for my 10 hour break. Went to weather.com and saw there was a tornado watch here. Ironically enough, their advertising script brought up a link for a "Rare video of tornado tossing cars around" right underneath the tornado watch.

getting home and all, because I start Roehl school on May 19th...YIPEEE!!! Barring that I pass the CDL learner's exam. Passed the physical yesterday apply for passport Monday (supposedly this takes 4 weeks) so maybe it will be here after school is done. I for one am hoping for alot of Canada runs (at least while it is warm). Either that or back and forth to Florida every day would suit me fine. Hell, I'll go anywhere...I know the NYC jokes are coming but I could really care less.
