He tried to put it on himself, Gary maintenance wouldn't give it to him; which is BS because they gave me mine. Not saying you're lying GI, just saying that maintenance is full of BS with what they told you. The day crew can suck there, the night guys are the best ones to deal with. Especially the guy that wears the blue bandanna and has the piercings, I think he's the night supervisor and is awesome to deal with.

Jeff said he tried to get the sticker from Maint. and put it on himself but they wouldn't give it to him.
Not too much to ask. I would say he was doing it the way they told him......

Well I made it home to Vincennes again. I also managed to squeeze the rig down the alley into my back yard. Boy it was a tight fit. I'm not sure it will be as easy to get it out. Left the trailer over at TLT, heh...I know I wouldn't have got that to fit back there. I'm going to call Vincennes PD to see if it is legal to park in front of the house. I think the winter would be a problem, trying to park in back.
Next stop will be SC. I think its another 550mi from the house. I need to make sure I leave in plenty of time to deliver 0700 Thursday. I would imagine that I'll do what I usually do, and drive most or all of it on the first day and stay as close to the consignee that night. I did learn this week not to burn all my hours. I ran out of hours for the day, one hour from home. Luckily the wife and girls came up to Terre Haute to pick up a baby shower gift for my cousin. So my girls and I all went out to dinner.
But now it is time for the honey-do list. Yardwork, Critter-care, and probably assist with house cleaning. Heh...work 2 weeks and come home and work some more. Then take a shopping trip to Evansville, and entertain the girls some. Nothing like married life.

Now there's no need for everyone to get excited about the decal. (I guess I was just venting, it was a bit fustrating but I'm over it, mostly.) I'll just keep trying and waiting. Someone is bound to either put it on, or give it to me. Heh...I almost thought about putting on the little window decal they gave me at RDTC. I have that on my pickup. I don't want to trash up this thread. There is far too much good stuff to report on Roehl, than bad (at least so far).
You're right Dr Venture, The Gary evening crew is a bit more cordial, (they still didn't give me the decal, heh...maybe I ticked them off bugging them so much). I found that Kaukana and Iron Mountain have probably the best maintenance crews. At Iron Mountain they practically run out begging to fix something. At Kaukana it takes a bit of encouragement to get the guys off the picnic table, but the work they do is good. -
I love going to Iron Mountain. My first time through I went shopping in the parts room. Everything I had been asking for was there. Hard hats, spare lights, extra valve stem covers; you name it, they have it. They are great. You have to fight the other terminals for these things. Kaukauna isn't bad either, but Iron Mountain will always be my favorite.

The funniest part about that is when I took your truck up to Marshfield, it still had the decal, then they took it off and issued you the truck.
I don't care what anyone says, that's funny. -
Hey all,
I am about half way through evo 1 and doing well. I was wondering what to expect on evo 2.
Thanks -
EvoII will be pretty much identical to evoI. Good Luck
-
Thanks for the insight. I know that I have not done hardily any trip planning so far with evo 1 except look at the map with my trainer. Will I be doing all of the work in Evo 2?

Before the EVoII trainr will let you go he will sit back and strictly observe. You must run the load from beginning to end as a solo driver. Tell your next trainer you haven't done much trip planning and he should help you.
