I swear! Some of you Swift haters can call any d*** thing a "red flag!"
It's a red flag if you're the only person in orientation.
It's a red flag if there are a bunch of people in orientation.
It's a red flag if there are a s***load of trucks in the yard empty.
It's a red flag if there is no equipment available
It's a red flag if they have an age limit and certain criteria that must be met.
It's a red flag if they'll hire "anybody with a pulse."
It's a red flag if they are actively recruiting.
It's a red flag if there's a hiring freeze.
It's a red flag if people get sent home from orientation.
It's a red flag if everybody makes it through.
It's a red flag if f-ups are given chance after chance after chance.
It's a red flag if f-ups are summarily fired.
WTH, over?!? Do you realize how you sound?
Not enough equipment and a hiring freeze tells me this: People are happy working for and with Swift and are staying longer. Swift made commitments to their new hires and the company is trying to honor those commitments. People outside the company are seeing the improvements and are applying in droves. Even many experienced drivers. Since so many are applying, Swift is being more choosy. Therefore, the quality of the fleet is improving. No, the fleet has not gotten any smaller.
Seems to me, Swift isn't such a bad company after all.
