Starting Swift training on 10/3/11 - Will update regularly

Tonight I was warned not to go to Werner, so I've been looking at Swift's website. It's a difficult decision when you have a plethora of experienced drivers with all different kinds of advice!!! So, yes PLEASE keep us posted on your Swift experience...!

Bud of mine went through orientation last week, with a Swift new hire.

Problem was, it was USA orientation.

The guy had waited for his truck assignment for so long, he gave up and went to USA orientation, got his truck, and is now on the road.

Still no word from Swift about that truck. LMMFAO

 

Where are the swift schools/training locations located? Is there a consolidated list somewhere??

I will see you in Millington on sunday. I too am starting drivers training there the third.

 

Anyone going to be in San Antonio starting on the 5th? I start there. However, I am trying to knock out my endorsements early as I don't have to retake the tests that I took for my class B. They also said since I have my permit early I can use the time to take the other endorsement tests with the class. So I may go for Tanker and Hazmat monday, and then if I don't pass do it with the class. That Hazmat looks intimidating, but I may have a friend help me learn it or maybe if I meet some people to study with at the class I could work on it more with them.

 

Well it looks like none of those schools are very close. Since I already have my CDL are there more locations where I could go?

 

Well? School started a week ago....are you still enrolled?
