Tdi is a great school. I was there about 2 months ago. The trainers teach you a lot. Jarvis ( master chief as most call him) will teach you a lot and will answer about any question you have. Throughout the 3 weeks you will have numerous trucking company recruiters coming in and some other former students as well. As far as companies go US Express sounds good but I talked to a driver and they were letting him train his wife and the guy said the company hired a male who was a registered sex offender and put him in the truck with a female trainer. Who then drugged and raped her.
Starting TDI Oxford, AL 1/13/14. Anyone else?

I just got a "pre-hire" email from Roehl this morning. I haven't even started school yet. Not sure how much weight that actually carries.
-
That's good. The school will have you filling out about 50 applications and they want you to have atleast 2 pre-hires by the end of the first week.
-
That pretty much just means that you passed the initial requirements such as having a pulse and you haven't killed anyone or you aren't wanted by the police. If you were to eventually apply at Roehl, that prehire just helps them speed the process up so they can do the real background check and run your MVR and all of that stuff. It doesn't mean much.
