was told a week ago that everything was OK for orientation at MCT on Monday the 24th and that I would be receiving an e-mail that would have a list of things to bring, directions etc.

Well, it's wednesday night, and still no e-mail. tried calling the recruiters several times today, only got voicemail.
So I left them a couple VMs asking to call me back or e-mail me, and I sent them an e-mail.

Now, I wouldn't be too worried about this, except the fact that I'm packing everything and clearing out my house so my landlords can sell it when I leave. and I dont want to have to sit around an empty house for another week if they dont have their stuff in order. Plus, Werner has called asking if I want to go with them...

Get the ball rolling with Werner as a backup plan perhaps?

if i can't get a hold of MCT tomorrow morning I'll call Matt at AM&S again, the fleet I'll be driving for. If he can't help me out then I'll give Werner a call.

I would show up at orientation as scheduled. E/mail them or voice mail them and let them know. Now, that's me and my way, you can do it your way. Good luck.

Good to hear you're all set. I can relate about being nervous, I was like that with my transport gig. Even tho I was friends with the owner of the company I was still nervous some 'old hand' might come in there and hoodwink me out of the gig.

How are things going? Keep us informed as things progress. Good luck and be safe. Ever see a white stretched T600 KW daycab pulling a grain wagon with CHS flag on the side give me a holler.

My nerves got the best of me.
went there for a DOT physical.

BP was 153/107. And it only got worse as i kept thinking about it.

It blew my mind because the last time I had my BP checked the bottom number was 84. Granted, I had a lot of stress getting my house cleaned out, but I never expected a jump of 20 points. So i had to drive 3 hours back to Austin for a week. Saw the doctor (no job means no insurance means i had to pay with what little cash I had left) and she put me on another medication. So I've been checking it all week and everything is fine. As long as i dont get too anxious and get my heart rate too ridiculous...

So, heading back to Sioux Falls today. Getting there plenty early too. Not 11:00 pm like last Sunday.

    shriner75 Thanks this.
