    565 hp 2050 torque

And yes it will have full lockers. Front and rear axles with a power divider, honestly I've never seen a farm pickup truck with any company not setup like that. We get too snow and ice

    What is a cummings?
You still wont have appreciated a big cummings with 18 speed unless its one without that emissions junk on it and a set of 8" loud pipes on it puking black smoke. Until you have that, dont go putting a low seat in it and a tall shifter.

Relax, im just bustin balls. All good. Enjoy your new ride bud.

    Oxbow and Dockbumper Thank this.

what's the purpose of a tall shifter? i think the manufacture knew the proper height and that's where they put it. having it at windshield height must be a super trucker thing? along with those stupid front tire lug nut spikes. i once walked into a set of those at a milk plant. the bays are very tight at that plant. ouch. it hurt like h#ll

I was a bus mechanic for awhile, so I'm well aware of the difference between an auto shift manual, and a true fluid-coupled automatic.

I haul fluid products also; liquid sweeteners and vegetable oils, in smooth bore tankers.

I don't have the problems with driving an auto shift that you and Bruce Wilton do.

You coulda just left it at that. Personal preference.

    I wish you every success.

you as well, just saying there is a difference between farm pickup and long haul..... although i would still prefer a manual for long haul. just a personal preference

bruce is my boss, owner of the company. we have around 25 trucks and associated trailers. my point was, i think he knows how to drive, still he backed into a building with an autoshift. they have a tendency to stop, when you give them enough fuel to get moving again they have a habit to lurch.

Well, actually, what you were saying was that neither you nor Bruce can back an auto shift without difficulty, therefore......

Personal preference is a completely valid reason.

    Doesn't mean everything else "sucks".

BTW, I'm not casting shade on your boss. He built a successful business from the ground up. I salute him.

You, on the other hand, well,........I wish you every success. Don't scratch the new unit.

    Dockbumper Thanks this.
