Be my guest. It was something my Dad used to say, as in..."That SOB chewed me out so bad he made my ears bleed"...

each to their own regarding the tall shifter. when it comes to the spikes, if your going to park in a milk plant with close and tight bays, it presents a danger to people walking by your truck.

Or....watch your step.....lots of things to be aware of around big trucks. Plastic spikey lugnut covers have never been on the top of my list for dangerous things on the road.

    homeskillet Thanks this.

first day in the new truck and i love it. specifically it's 565 hp and 1850 torque, the engine only says X15 on the side of it, but if you look at the information label that's what it's rated at. not sure if this is performance series or not, but it's not efficiency series. i like the refresh on the instrument cluster, all relevant information right in front of the driver. transmission temp, oil temp, coolant temp, air pressures, it's pretty much al there. KW did a nice job on it. the X15 pulls stoutly, and seems much less strained then a paccar. i went up dansville hill with 68K, with the paccar the speed will drop under 35, the X15 does it at 43 mph. the truck has a bendix and im not entirely sure how that operates. it seems to go off regularly when im in town and approach intersections. the truck is governed at 70, my previous truck was governed at 65, i only do 70 on the interstate but it's there.

i have my phone linked to the stereo with bluetooth. it's great for playing music off my phone, however phone call audio sounds terrible. i cannot hear anyone talking to me, but they can hear me.... i cant hear them.
