Starting training at Millis on Nov 2, 2009

spanky where you been? what kind of miles has everyone been getting? talked to deeann, she said that drivers were averaging around 2500. what you say??? does millis allow split-breaking spanky???

 

No problem! Except for that one post, that is all I have found negative about them. I met with a driver this morning and she also said that she has heard only good things about them.
I put in an application with them on Wednesday. I will call them Monday after I come out of the woods looking for Bambi and her mother!

 

sitting at the house since the friday before thanksgiving on vacation doing some work on the our farm before the cold weather arrives. as far as milles go the last few weeks i have been averaging around 2500 miles and yes they will allow split breaking. other than that not much getting ready to head out on monday morning for a few weeks than take off 2 weeks for christmas and new year.

Just wondering how long it took from when you submitted your app until you knew if you were accepted and how long from that point until you started class? How does Millis scrren the drivers they accept? I heard they get like 300 applications a day and only choose seven people......what pushes the ones they're choosing to the top of the pile?

 

I have been with Millis for over a year and went to MTI, I have been gettin' it ever since.Home time is every other weekend and at least once a week for me unless I choose differently.Pay is the best out there anywhere for a student or a new driver.Benies are fair,eye and dental are fantastic.My truck is a 2007 T 600 that had 299,000 on it when i got it 2-10-09.As it sits in my driveway right now 12-05-09 she has 421,000 on her,so I don't want to here from this guy that miles suck. WRONG!!!!!
If you want to run,you will run.I have no problems with the way I am treated there,you treat people the way you want to be treated.Right?The only thing I found misleading on the website was that all trucks have fridges in them,not,they have an electric cooler that works well.Some of the newer T2000 had them and all the 2010 T2000 have them.If anyone has any questions ,feel free to ask me.Just like Spanky,I will be glad to help if I can. I was looking back in this thread for something that was said that was negative about Millis. Hmm.. I did see the comments that Jimthehut wrote that he found on "another" site...and I emailed the author of those comments..2 times.....

NO RESPONSE - Gee big surprise there.

- if he has lots to say thats 'bad' - he isnt saying it...

 

Does anyone know if MILLIS checks everything about your APPLICATION? I know they have checked my current employer, my DAC report, do they also check your credit report. Do they check all this stuff before they OK your application???
