    LONG DAY TODAY!!!

Classes this morning, then backing and shifting. First time on a public road driving a truck. Gooooood stuff.

As long as my instructors truck is back from Detroit Diesel tomorrow (regen issue) we'll be getting a load and hitting the road after a few more hours of shifting practice. Double clutching down shifts suck.

Congratulations!! Down shifting is harder. Give it time n you'll have it down like a pro. Good luck with the truck...

Once you get it, you got it. Maybe you can get off and on every exit ramp for 100 miles or so, and you will have it down by then!
Hang in there! Keep us posted. Nine years ago I was where you are - training in a Prime truck!
