Be advised,,when you take company training,you are obligated to repay it. Those companies require you stay on board for 2 yrs? to offset training costs. If you move on,,expect to get a bill.
also if you train at a driving school,don't expect reimbursement in a lump sum..expect more like $25 a week.

In your opinion anybody, what is decent pay per mile. I am guessing 40 cpm, I am also looking to go OTR, running city right now in Tucson. Thank you,

If you only look at CPM (cents per mile) you end up being at a company who offers .70 a mile and only 300 miles a week.

Why don't you find a school that doesn't charge a lot of money to get your cdl, borrow the money, and then look at newspaper or craigslist or other starting jobs. Maybe the school that you get your cdl from has info on companies they know that can get you a job
